Floor Lamps

What can a Z Two Lights floor lamp do for my space?

Modern floor lamps can instantly transform any space in your home or office. After a bit of cozy conversational time with a loved one? Place a floor lamp next to the sofa to create a comfortable and inviting space. If you need to highlight an elegant feature carpet, floor lighting next to a wall can help to enhance any décor - a perfect design aid for the illumination, ambience and mood of any environment.

The evolution of modern floor lamps means that they are now very versatile and can be used across a variety of applications - besides a bed, adjacent to a wall or next to a sofa to highlight it as the centrepiece of a living room, by any entryway and anywhere that requires a reprise in mood and class - designer floor lamps also take up very little space, making them malleable for any environment. Z Two Lights is a leading supplier and installer of designer floor lamps in Sydney, get in touch with our friendly and professional team today to help find you the perfect lighting solution.

How do I choose a floor lamp?

Choosing a floor lamp can be broken into 3 basic facets:

• Purpose: Do you need the floor lamp for reading and writing? Decorative lighting? Or general illumination? The purpose of the floor lamp is one of the first things to consider
• Décor and colour scheme: You need a floor lamp that complements your interior décor when it comes to blending in with your colour scheme and furnishings. For spaces with a more industrial feel/styling, industrial floor lamps or cage lights would be the perfect option. For a more nature-inspired vibe, designer tripod floor lamp stands made of wood/shades of rattan would add a perfect complementary touch. Z Two Lighting has lamps to marry up to any décor style, whether it be classic or contemporary.
• Frequency/Number of lights: The last thing to decide - would you rather have one larger, illuminating light or several smaller lights? How many lamps does your lighting solution require? This will also link to the purpose of the floor lamp.

Make sure to get in touch with our team if you need a hand deciding or have any questions.

What type of floor lamps do you stock?

As a leading supplier of modern floor lamps in Sydney, Z Two Lights has one of the best collections of unique floor lamps/lighting in Australia. We have both contemporary and classic floor lamp designs ranging from retro, industrial style and overhanging floor lamps to more contemporary designs such as Crescent, Melody, Noble, Gold Cage and more!

How high should my floor lamp be?

Your floor lamps should always be positioned high enough so that the bulb is concealed by some form of shade. You should also consider the area that you want to stylistically enrich since higher floor lamps illuminate more space (while bearing in mind that decorative floor lamps can also consist of, visible naked bulbs).
